About KJHPAT
The Kathryn Jones Harrison (KJH) Parents and Teachers organization is an all-
volunteer, non-profit organization comprised of KJH moms, dads, care-givers and
grandparents in league with our teachers to help support and enrich our school. We
fund field trips, teacher grants, extra-curricular activities and school supplies/equipment
that fall outside of the school’s budget. We also help organize volunteers and plan
community building events. If you are interested in helping out, please join us at our
monthly meeting!
We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 6pm in the KJH art room; join us to
learn more! Kids are welcome and pizza is provided to help make mealtime easier! If

First Alternative Co-op
First Alternative Co-op offers two ways to donate:
Designate your Owner Dividend to our school at Customer Service, the Co-op will
match your Dividend as a donation -or- Choose to Round-up your purchase at
checkout and donate the extra money to our school.
KJH Bottle Drop Fundraiser!
Donate cans and bottles to help raise money for KJH Parents and Teachers
Organization!
How:
1.) Pick up a pre-labeled blue bag(s) at the office.
2.) Fill it with cans/bottles
3.) Bring it the nearest bottle drop location (1111 NW 9TH St, Corvallis, OR
97330 from 8am-6pm)

Local restaurants will donate a portion of sales made back to our school. See dates &
locations below.
Pastini:
When: March 20 th
Donates 40% of sales from participating tables – mention our name!
Papa’s Pizza:
When: June 10 th
Show this flyer and they will donate 50% of the value of food purchased on the day of
the fundraiser

Teacher/Club Grants:
This fund provides additional resources teachers/staff need for supplies or materials
that are outside of the school's regular operating budget. It also helps support extra-
curricular activities like Garden Club, OBOB and more!

Field Trips – KJHPAT has a field trip budget for each class however, some teachers
have have additional requests that exceed the current budget allowance. Below are

OBOB Club: The Oregon Battle of the Books club is raising funds for the books needed
for next year. Without parent donations the club would not have had the resources
needed to compete this year.

Jog-a-thon: (fundraising to support our general fund) The annual jog-a-thon is one of the
main fundraisers for KJH Parents & Teachers. This fundraiser supports our general fund
that we use to fund teacher grants, extra-curricular clubs/activities, field trips, special
events like author’s day and STEAM night and school equipment that falls outside of the
school’s operating budget. We could really use your help to make sure we have the
resources needed to support our students and staff.
Goal: $10,000
